Why are we releasing an Upgraded Chip 67XL?

After the April 2026 printer firmware update, some printers rejected old chips. We released our new upgraded chip on April 20, 2026, to ensure seamless compatibility across all corresponding printer models.

Does the Upgraded Chip 67XL support firmware updates?

Absolutely. Our upgraded chips are fully compatible with firmware updates, giving you total control over your printer settings. These chips are engineered to work seamlessly with both new and older firmware versions, so you can rest assured that compatibility will never be an issue.

How do these upgraded chips differ from the older ones?

Our upgraded chips are optimized for the latest firmware. Unlike older versions, they won’t be disabled by auto printer updates, effectively eliminating recognition issues.

Do these work with HP+ services?

Yes! These chips are engineered to work with various printer models, including those with HP+ services enabled.

Is all current stock the upgraded version?

Yes. Following the latest firmware update, we cleared all older stock from our facilities. Every 67XL cartridge in our current inventory has been upgraded to the latest chip version.
